First off, thank you to everyone who wrote asking if they could help and for your words of encouragement. It's been an interesting two days.
Second off, thank you to everyone for your patience during the past four days with the board being down.
Third - I DID NOT TRANSFER ANY USERS. YOU WILL NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN. SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENCE BUT YOU'LL SEE WHY BELOW.
Now, let's see if I can explain everything in a logical manner. Might be tough.
On Thrusday, our hoster shut off our site due to the message board. We never could figure out why the board was being a problem partly because I'm not a PHP programmer (what the last board was built on). Knowing this, we had a couple of options - find a new board (possibly putting us in the same spot again), or build one ourselves (which has been on the backburner for years now). The latter option also has the chance of being problematic, but if it is one I have built, then I have full control and know how it works.
On Friday evening, we decided on the latter option.
So I've been staring at two monitors for two straight days now - well over 24 hours worth of work. What you see here is all that work. And obvously, there's still plenty of work to do, but more on that in a second.
So where's the old board?
It's here...somewhere. It's currently off but we do have all the data! In the coming weeks, I hope to give everyone access to that data or to move it over here.
I also plan to move over some of the information from the old board, including post count, join date, and other information. But for the time-being, I am going to let it stay where it is.
So let me repeat - the old board's data is NOT gone, and I do plan on bringing it over somehow.
So what's with the new board?
Glad you asked.
The new board has been in my head for two years, and been slowly put together for the past year, and then crammed into a weekend this weekend. As you can see, it does not have the bells and whistles of before, nor does it have the right look - some pages still look strange, and the colors aren't right. I totally understand, and am asking for patience. Normally, I wouldn't throw an unfinshed work out like this, but we've had no choice.
That being said - I'd like to approach everyone with an offer. Becasue this board is built solely by me (except for the editor when you post a message), we can do everything and anything we want in the way of functionality and programming. So many of the features that some of you have been wanting, we can now do. Now just becase we can do it, doesn't mean we necessarily will. However, I do want input from everyone, and after posting this, I am going to create a new forum asking for requests and other ideas. This will be a fully user-built board - not just one in which programmers got together and said here's what we want. We're doing it from the ground up.
Right now, the board allows you to post messages, have an avatar, and also send PMs. That's about it. There's still a lot of work to do - especially on the adminstration level.
Due to God only giving us 24 hours in a day, and the US govt only giving us a 2 day weekend, I didn't have time to transfer everyone over from the old board. Please register again. Like I said above, we'll get your stuff from the old board at some point.
Where's the other forums?
For the first day or so, let's just run with the basic core forums. I don't want to deal with more than I need to right now, and this will help keep a little sanity in my life. Just a couple of days.
So what do I do if I get an error?
Another good question.
Post in the thread that I am going to be creating called "ERROR MESSAGES." Do not post your error messages on this announcement because I don't want to get all confused. Also post what you were doing and portions of the error message if you have one. I will need to try and duplicate it.
So what do I do know?
Well, re-register if you haven't done so, and then give the new board a test drive. You're bound to find something wrong! 
Well, that's about it for now. I'm sure there is plenty else to mention, but I have to release this board now. Thanks for reading, and understanding. Again, I know it's not real slick yet, but it will be soon so please bear with us.
