Here's some summary of updates that I've been working on the past couple of days: - Signature has been added to the User CP
- A new WYSIWYG Editor
- Fixed the File Manager upload feature
- Redid some backend stuff to track users around the site so you can see who is where (yes, the hidden feature will come back)
- Added some images from the old board
- Re-designed the main page to include Stats and Birthdays
- Added stickies and announcements for mods and admins
- Added smilies (but currently having an issue regarding the scrollbar)
Ther's probably more but I can't think of anything else right now. Expect more changes throughout Saturday and Sunday (unless I decide to take a break and work on other things)

I knew I forgot one. I was able to duplicate a bug last night that others were experiencing. It involved logging in and then being redirected back to the Login Page. It seemed to only happen in IE, and I never could figure out why. So I redid the login functionality and that problem should now be fixed.

And we gotta another update - There is now a PROFILE link in the USER CP. This allows you to enter all that fun stuff that you want to say about yourself. I added a "Blog" field since I know some people might have both a site and a blog that are seperate. I will be adding links to posts so you can now view profiles. And yes, we will be putting direct links to some of these things on the topics page like on the old board, but not at the moment. This will probably be the last major update to the board today so I can work on other things.

I'm working on a "Webmaster of the Year" plaque as we speak. It's actually one of those talking fish plaques with the inscription colored over in Magic Marker, but it's gonna be cool, I swear.

Thank you, Jordan, it's much smoother now. I know Kelly said some people lied about their country flags, but could we still try to get them (it helps with knowing when people are online)? And the super-cool smiley faces we had before; they have always been the best I've seen. I miss them. PS-Why can't I get the old smiley faces; I noticed other people had them.

When you post, click the Smilie on the menu bar and then click the image you want. The problem is that you can't scroll right now but in most browsers you should be able to grab the right bottom hand side of the image and make it bigger to see more of the emoticons.

The flags have nothing to do with a person's online status.
At this point, they're a superfluous function of the old board and we'd kind of wanted to do away with them for a while. So this is our opportunity.

Well, I beg to disagree. If you know what country someone is from, you can figure out when they might be online. It's pretty easy in the US, but when somebody is from Australia or Hong Kong, it's a pain to figure out. Oh, well, I still think it's a good idea. Sorry others don't.

Users have the option of listing their location in their profiles. That should be sufficient indicator. Not to mention that a lot of people either didn't use the flags or didn't use the flag for their specific country. So we just choose not to reinstate the flags. No huge loss. The best way to know when someone will be online is to just ask them. If they want to chat with you, they'll tell you.
