the opening of this episode sees james out on a ride. and there is this song in the background which i cant find. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Americana. It's on the coffee commercial contest website. I've linked to it a couple times on the TP/FWWM forum, where this question has been asked before. Same song is on the Season 2 soundtrack, only it's the 'Leo whoopin on Shelly's ass with soap in a sock' version.
