Thank you ManRay (it seemed to be a compliment so I took it that way.)  I strive for a certain precision in communication and am appalled by how often I land so far from the mark. It is nice to 'hear' that I'm being clear to some folk.

Honestly? Honestly never in real life encountered men who regard women in this way? Whilst the internet gives free reign to every idiot who likes to come out with non political correct nonsense(i am not excluded from this statement), it is usually in juvenile jest, whilst compared to the living breathing flesh encounter with some awful ignorant idiot whose life view doesn't go beyond swearing and lecherous ambition. Be thankful that you have not encounters such indiviuduals outside of the cosy confines of a message board dedicated to a nearly 20 year old television show. Ignorant, misogyistic people are real, very real , and horrible to meet in real life.

And not to fall back onto a cliche- but just take a look at 'glossy' women's mags; which do nothing but gawp at celebritites, celebrating their minor body flaws whilst simultanesously disintegrating the self worth of their readership. This is far far worse than some people jokingly teasing about a semi-comedic character on a television show.

So please don't hurt yourself when you climb down off your high horse, k?
