DL gave a filmed interview on November 15th and gave some hilarious precisions about how went his meeting in the early 80's with Lucas about "Return of the Jedi". Have a look : Why DL turned down "Return of the Jedi" ?

I wonder why Lucas considered Lynch at all... I guess just admiration for his work wasn't the reason, he may had thought Lynch could bring something to the movie....but what?
