Thanks for posting the link. I've always been intrigued by the Lynch bio comic but didn't want to buy it because I had a suspicion it would be horrible.

The triteness of it all fair oozes off the page. I have a Madonna comic that (if I remember correctly) cunningly welds her early career to a story about a serial killer... because people buying a Madonna bio comic would presumably have been disappointed to discover her life story was sadly lacking in menace?

Lisa: This biography of Bart came out awfully quickly. It's not even about him!
Bart: Sure it is! Look at the cover.
Lisa: But inside it's mostly about Ross Perot, and the last two chapters are excerpts from the Oliver North trial.

That quote's genius - and true... Last week I read an interview with Katie Price (aka brassy 'glamour' model Jordan) and she said she hasn't read any of her three (ghostwritten) memoirs because she already knows what's in them. You have to admire her honesty but it shows absolute contempt for her 'fans'.
