This seems to be a very narrow minded attitude towards digital video - let's face it Michael Mann shot "Public Enemies" digitally and it looks stunning. I am happy with the trade off, more personalised less comprimised expression from DL at the loss of celluloid. http://www.online-inquirer.com/cinema/inland-empire/

The discussion over here inspired me to download a 720p rip of that blu-ray disc and watch IE again for the first time in 3 1/2 years. I quite liked it when I first saw it in the cinema. As far as it being disjointed, I'm not into analysing and making sense of movies I like to such a high degree as most of you seem to be. The DVD did look like shit, however.
