This is encouraging: "Yeah, I'm thinking about film. I don't have a film ready to go, but I'm catching ideas for the next thing."

The Good Day Today/I Know single available on itunes has been getting knocked quite a bit by Lynch fans. Goes to show i really shouldn't read other people's comments on it, cos i think both songs are great in their own way. The first sounds like progressive trance/house with a Lynch spin, could've easily been on an early Steve Aoki/Underworld release or something, whereas I Know sounds akin to Ghost Of Love and could've easily slotted in on the Inland Empire OST (even FWWM, it's got those Pink Room guitar vibes).

I'm looking forward to the album for sure.

The weird thing about these songs, and other famous non-musicians dabbling in music, is that the production values are obviously very good but the music itself fairly amateurish. It's not awful and I'll listen to the new album just because it's David Lynch but I don't think it would ever have been noticed if it had been released by some unknown.

Much like Inland Empire.
