 1) polite reminder

 2) subtle use of emotional blackmail 

 3) grievous bodily harm

 If my friends ask to borrow a film/book/CD that I know I couldn't live without I just buy them a copy. 

had to resign from work, and forgot all about lending my collectables, the thing is I cannot leave a response to the worker cause of security, which sucks!!! and she knows, so if ever I see her around streetwise yes, gonna get redneck, the things I let her check out were high dollar. not dvds, just a couple special things I have collected and she said she would give them back, so that's dummy me for lending anything very pricey.
