New to the boards here...just rewatched the show with a friend, haven't watched in years. Not since I had the VHS set...anyway, so many questions have popped in my head....The one I always remembered was about the Log Lady....when she was a little girl was she taken to the White Lodge? I assume that Major Briggs went to the same place.  God...its been great watching it again.

Yes, while watching the series I assumed they had both been taken to the white lodge. As both saw a flash of a bright white light and both had tattoos from the experience (Major Briggs with the three triangular scars on this neck and the Log Lady with the two mountains on the back of her leg). Major Briggs also mentions that he believes he had been taken to the white lodge but has no memory of it. When Major Briggs returns he had been gone for two days but feels as if the time had not been that long at all, when the Log Loady returns, she was also told she had disappeared for a day but also did not feel as if it were that long. And like Major Briggs, the only thing she remembers was the flash of bright light and the call of the owl. I hope this helps. :)
