What about good ol' Nefud? Geoff?? Kittykat?? Smokey??? C'mon! Show your faces and write some last lines... Hell, what about Tara/WyndyAnnie??? I'm sure most old Gazetteers remember her/them... If she/they show up the Gazette doesn't end! Deal?

The majority of them liked us on there I think but a few jumped up little toerags in big boots didn't... (I underminded their authority,I think) (made them feel like they weren't 'in charge')

They tried messing me about and being 'clever bastards'... I finished one of them and then he went crying to his mate who began shovelling out a large helping of fairy manure(bullshit) onto me...

and then they tried going for the moral high ground trying to make out I was 'angry'

They were just being clever bastards and they didn't want me back in there basically...

(I was banned at this point...I'd had to register again with a reserve identity and I was a little bit angry because I'd contacted them in private to send me out a new password for my 'My0wl' account to my new email address but they hadn't been able to manage it...

anyway,it turned out there was a woman behind it all... (because I was taking this little fella apart by this point) (so maybe he'd gone crying to her)

This is sad news indeed, but completely understandable.  I joined the board around 2001 I think and I made some great friends.  I'm still in touch with a few of them, even though I haven't posted here for yonks.

I don't know what to say... haven't really posted since summer but I did check the Gazette quite a lot of times. Never seen this announcement though. Of course I understand and... understand... I mean, an obvious decision probably. But

It's been about, I don't know - over nine years for sure. And those early 00s, the time of unending discussions that used to be so capturing and so in-depth that writing one post would sometimes take an hour or two... but it was NEVER a wasted time.

Thank you so much Jordan and Kelly for making this possible, and to all those with whom I spent so much virtual time here: Devilish, Smokey, Geoff, Maddy... lots and lots of others, and last but not least my dear Gordon who made me feel truly at home here. Although I don't know what you mean by:

This thing has been confirmed a long time ago, alright? For me as long ago as November 1991 when the last episode was aired in Poland and Annie said to Coop that her husband killed her. Really Gordon, how many times can one say the same thing all over again

Back to the topic. A very warm thank you to Rebel, you know for what, dear Jeri.

Another very warm memory of Saba (cherry pie was her user name?) who was - along with Devilish - the only member of the board I met in person.

Yo BOB1! I just registered in Dugpa.com... Why don't you join as well and I'll be happy to explain to you that is not Annie who talks about her husband but Caroline ("Who's Annie? It's me, it's me")? The Gazette folks are already fed up with us, so why don't you join me and together we'll get our asses kicked by the Dugpa people? You know, as father and son...blah, blah...rule the Galaxy... JOIN ME!!

And to the rest of you the same thing... I already mentioned I'd probably join Dugpa and these days after reading many of its threads I decided that's the place I want to be if the Gazette doesn't exist... You'll find me there for sure! Because of this in the next weeks I plan a series of reviewings of Lynch films and stuff so maybe I'm in the mood to create threads and discussions there... I must admit I'm a little rusty...

WOW! you too I wanna list as well, as for Devilish, where are you guy? I remembered he was checkin out Mulholland Drive at some theatre and I told him just in case take an autograph book, ya never know ya might meet Naomi Watts and Laura Harring, and yes! he met them I remember he did get their autograph. Devilish hope ya are lurkin now.

You must learn your place, young one! your new place on dugpa I mean. You can't just register and start off demanding that everybody believes in your absurd theories because you are the great Gordan and you made the Did you notice threads or something. They'll laugh at you, man!

I just looked through my PM box, with lots of messages imported from older versions of the board. There are lots of things I didn't remember anymore but now I do again... like a very pleasant exchange of messages with an Indian girl named Preeti-Aishwarya Naina whose name must have been as beautiful as she was herself, now I'm starting to remember some photos... she went by the board nick name of specialagentaudreyhorne...

And also a wonderful long-time correspondence with Blackie (haven't seen her on the boards for many years). And Leo's Girl, she used to be a good penfriend, too.

And Ditte who I think was the first person from the board I mailed with - cheers to you, lady!

Posting theories ain't like dusting crops boy! You will find that many of the theories that look absurd depend greatly on our own point of view... A polish friend was seduced by the dark side of the Absurdity... He ceased to be BOB1 and became Bopper... When that happened the good theorist that was my friend was destroyed... He's more non-sense now than man, silly and crazy...

 The last few years has been a blast - with just a few negatives. Message boards were the first social network and I'm glad that we've been able to be a TP Social Network for so long (and so successfully).

 (and BTW - Laura's Diary from 10+ years ago was cutting edge for its time LOL. Technology has left me far behind over the years. LOL)

It's funny. This board is still the first thing I see when I launch my browser. Even though I spend most of my Internet discussion time on The Facebook (here's where I can be stalked: facebook[dot]com/guntonkirk), it's comforting to remember the long-long-ago.

I was 14 when I joined, in the midst of transforming into a full-on film freak (and Peaksfreak, get it?). Now I'm 23, and I've got an actual college degree in da movies. Very little has changed in the interim, except I'm a little better at Photoshop, now. Too bad there's no Caption thread for me to show that off in.
