This has been driving me crazy since I first purchased the Gold Box set the week it was first released. On my set, all of the first season episodes (except for the pilot) have a lip sync problem. The audio is slightly behind the visuals, and it's very noticeable in many scenes (an example is before Laura's funeral when Cooper is discussing real estate options in Twin Peaks with 'Diane') It makes the first season difficult to watch. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and if this issue is limited to the first pressing of the Gold Box. I would gladly buy another Gold Box set if I knew that the problem was corrected, but I don't want to shell out mire money if nothing has changed. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. It is definitely not my DVD player acting up, as I have tried it on multiple players. Thanks!

I actually went to check this out and mine seems absolutely fine, even on said scene. I have both the US and UK versions, and each run perfect.
Like you say, perhaps it's down to the pressing. It would be a shame that you are forced to buy another one for that reason though.

Sometimes it's just related to your media player or bad playback in general. I've occasionally had movies playing out of sync (including Twin Peaks) but the cause always seemed briefly pausing the movie and then restarting it. Doing the same thing often restores the sync to normal.
