Since the cloth was markedly distanced from the scene,I would guess Bob dropped it. I thought it was maybe Leland fighting through,and hoping to get caught,but I don't think so after considering the glee in his face during the Maddy murder,covering it up during his 'golf' drive,and the fun he had faking receiving the news that Ben was the killer. Yes, i know it was really Bob,but i just see no struggling with the possibility of Leland breaking through. Are we assuming it was self inflicted,or does it show it?
