So, do you believe that after you die, you are dead and there is nothing else beyond that? Apart from the fact your energy disperses and your particles form parts of other things and becomes part of the grass and the other animals etc.
That you need to make the best of the life here on earth? Well why not? You might aswell if you want to die happy.
What do you believe about the higher conscious that you spoke of? The conscience is the part of your brain that tells you what's wrong and what's not and helps decides things for you (you being the conscious part of the brain). Everybody knows that.
Can you do anything more at that level of conscious like healing, flying, walking through walls etc... or is that just to make you a better person? The conscience is affected by your peers and is influenced by parents and everything you see, hear, smell, taste or feel. Everything contributes to what your conscience defines as right and wrong. For example, I hate smoking, drinking alcohol, drugs etc. yet other people may like 1 or 2 of those things. Your conscience has limits. It does not alter the world around you physically, but it may mentally. It's not going to suddenly allow you to heal, fly and walk through walls, because all it consists of are electronic pulses travelling along your nervous system.
What does it mean to be a better or good person? As I said before, the conscience is influenced, therefore the definitions of good and bad, right and wrong, better and worse are simply relative to perspective.
