...and I know we all want to rush out and buy a copy.  Here are some highlights.  She's... um... like, so smart.

Many years ago, my sister and I had a little private joke we used to share.  It was about a category we called "Ordinary People Who Think They're Extraordinary."  Tee hee...

PASSIVE AGGRESSION: Sheehan

The right-wingers who think nothing but the worst of Cindy Sheehan probably won't change their minds after reading Peace Mom. In the book, which hits bookstores September 19, the antiwar icon admits she has fantasized about going back in time and killing the infant George W. Bush, thereby preventing the Iraq War. In fact, she reveals, her son's death in that war almost drove her to take her own life: "Every night I had to restrain myself from taking my entire bottle of sleeping pills instead of just one." Other targets of her vitriol:

John McCain, whom Sheehan calls a liar for denying that he once responded to her question about why her son had to die by saying, "Well, Cindy, I am afraid it's going to be for nothing, like my buddies in Vietnam." McCain has denied that on another occasion he told her, "You keep doing what you are doing. America needs to hear your voice."

• "Baby blue-eyed" Anderson Cooper, whom Sheehan derides for doing a "hatchet job on me and investigating me with a vengeance. He dredged up everything I ever did or said." She says her sister had to be restrained from beating up Cooper at the end of their interview.

John Kerry, whom Sheehan regrets voting for in 2004, saying that she was "unimpressed."

Hillary Clinton, whom she considers "a conservative in liberal clothing... We don't need another powermonger in the White House."

Stephen Hadley, Bush's national security adviser, who smiled when she once asked him, "Do you guys stop and think sometimes, 'Wow, I really work for an idiot'?"

Oh, but Susan, that's not all....Cindy is going to be building a tree house according to this Waco Tribune interview :

Q: Last question. Do you plan to come back next year? The president is going to be in office till 2009 and our continued presence in Iraq seems fairly assured.

A: I hope he’s not in office till 2009, but this (anti-war presence in Crawford) is permanent. We’re going to start building a permanent structure soon. This may sound weird, but I’m going to live here. My residence is going to be a tree house. We’ve got some plans for amazing tree houses! This is a flood plain, so we have to build it. But the first structure we’re going to build is a camphouse with a great room and an industrial-type kitchen and an office and some bathrooms. So we’re planning on being permanent. It’s not just about George Bush, it’s about ending the occupation of Iraq and making sure it never happens again.

And yes, when I wrote "Waco" above - it was very tempting to add a "k" in there. I couldn't help but think that she's thinking Bush is going to "flood" her property (??by bombing some levees??) so that's why she is building tree houses.

Stop that now!  You're killing me here, Erwin!!!!  What a shock to open this thread and see that stupid picture!  (Cute dog, though)

But setting the record straight, I don't regret my Bill Clinton votes.  Also Hillary should not be in the White House because she's a woman, not because she's a liberal.  Remember it was I who was against Condoleezza as the Sec. of State for the same gender reason.

I can confirm - the reason why Susan doesn't want Hillary nor wanted Rice is because of gender (that was mostly on the previous board I think).

CCC - I saw that picture and laughed for quite some time!!! hilariouis!
