Recruitment (sometimes called evangelism) is a major preoccupation of all of the various religous faiths of the world and they don't always adopt a clean and transparent, take it or leave it approach to doing it. For starters, there are plenty of major religions with no interest whatsoever in "recruiting" - take Judaism for example.
Which is why you never hear of any Jewish conversions within the prison system though Christian and Muslim convicts abound! The tradition in Judaism for anyone who wants to be a member, is they are expected to make three requests before you are taken seriously. Are you really, really, really sure you want to do this???? Keeps the numbers managable. Round about 13,000,000 worldwide out of 6,000,000,000 humanoids. Then you learn all the secrets -- the handshake, how to prepare yummy gefilte fish and how to start the next war.  As if I know!

But evolution (natural selection) is the explanation for "magical morphing." Genetic inheritance and adaptation has been proven. I mean, you don't need to be a scientist to witness this for yourself. There's nothing fantastic about evolution from single celled organisms to the variety of organisms there are today when there's so much hard evidence.

It depends on what you mean by going to heaven? If you mean when they die and I think that is what you mean, sure they go to heaven. If you mean by tapping into heaven now which I don't think you mean, then I don't know.

Yes, except when babies are evil. Then God sends them back to hell where they belong. (Sorry, just watched John Carpenter's Pro-Life from the Masters of Horror series.)
