The Cook et al, all the way...saw it in the theater when it was released and loved it and it also started my love affair with Helen Mirren.

let's go Cronenberg...Dead Ringers or Videodrome?

Dead Ringers is one of the three most devastating films I've ever seen, so it wins.

oooh, good one! I have to go with Alien since it is in my top scary movies category, but Aliens is in my top sequels category too...

Which Mel Brooks film do you prefer? Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein? (For me it is YF, but don't let that influence you.)

Young Frankenstein (no influence necessary, SCP - the scene with Gene Hackman kills me every time!)

Leonardo DiCaprio or Matt Damon? (and you can't say "Neither")

DiCaprio, but I think they both have their place. (No, not in the bottom of a well.)

Adult Swim, or classic cartoons?

Watching a movie at home, would you rather have letterbox format but with commercials, or commercial-free but full-screen?  (And you're right, it depends on the movie, but in general?

widescreen with commercials (but my next question is, how heavily is it freakin' editied?)

hmmm...now I need a question? A three option question? Your favorite Peter Sellers character from Dr. Strangelove...Captain Mandrake? The President or Dr. Strangelove? I would have to go with Mandrake...

Who was the better "feisty heroine" for Indiana Jones: Karen Allen or Kate Capshaw? (and where are they now?)

Much Ado About Nothing (the other two were too long and up themselves! Dead Again was a better film than Henry V !!!)

David Bowie: "keep on acting" OR "stick to singing"?

Anything without commercials!!!! Geez, I think I'd prefer half a screen without commercials.

Commercials totally kill movies!

Malcom X or Mississippi Burning?

Beauty is momentary in the mind -
The fitful tracing of a portal;
But in the flesh it is immortal.
The body dies; the body's beauty lives.
So evenings die, in their green going,
A wave, interminably flowing.
So gardens die, their meek breath scenting
the cowl of winter, done repenting.
So maidens die, to the auroral
Celebration of a maiden's choral.
Susanna's music touched the bawdy strings
Of those white elders; but, escaping,
Left only Death's ironic scraping.
Now in its immortality, it plays
On the clear viol of her memory,
And makes a constant sacrement of praise.

('Peter Quince at the Clavier' by Wallace Stevens)

90 minutes. When they make movies near 3 hours long and it's not LotR they usually get slappy.

Adaptations for Michael Crichton's novels or for Steven King's ?
