I've been trying to work out a schedule to see all of these. Our theater is playing them all at wonky times and it's hard to figure out which ones to see when. I'd like to see all of them (except for that Snoop Dogg one...how shameful) but I might have to pick and choose... :(

QUOTE:

WHAT IS HORRORFEST?

Horrorfest is a weekend of horror films that are considered to graphic or too disturbing for general audiences.

Sounds great if it's true, and not just a tired marketing gimmick used to get people to see movies too shitty for distribution.

My brother and I sat around for a bit today watching the trailers and gathering whatever info we could find on each of the flicks. We decided we didn't want to see all of them, but now we're having a hard time paring down the list a bit. A couple of the trailers look horribly cheesy. A med student's cadaver is haunting her? Why am I not impressed? The Hamiltons looked sort of promising, but dunno. I guess at least I have a few more days to decide. Hm.

I'm definitely missing most of them.  Gravedancers has the best monsters, The Hamiltons has the most interesting premise.  Dark Ride & Wicked Little Things look good as far as production value.  I'll have to plan this around my work schedule, but I'll tell you what I see and if it's any good.

Hopefully they're not crappy Full Moon budget fare.  I just haven't seen anything bloody on the big screen in a while.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. That it's going to be like Booth said...movies that were just too sh*tty for distribution. The nice thing is our theater is playing most of the films for at least one matinee showing, so I won't have to pay full price to see something truly awful.

I'd be willing to bet Req and Velouria go to see most of these (if not all) so we'll be able to hear back on the ones we decided not to see ourselves.

So far the only one I've definitely decided on is The Hamiltons. Just out of morbid curiosity.

i plan to see gravedancers and reincarnation. the hamiltons looks ok but -- without having seen it -- i just think it could have been done better. the rest didn't interest me too much.
