Hey, you're ALL invited to a FREE sneak preview of the feature film I'm in. It's called Curtains (www.curtainsfilmnoir.com) & will screen on Dec. 11 at 9 p.m. at Seattle's Grand Illusion Cinema (we shot a scene there), on 50th & University Way. At 7, they're showing the classic Key Largo, but you'll have to pay to see that one. But the double bill is highly recommended. See how I stack up against Bogey. Just days before Soderberg's The Good German opens, with a very similar setting, look.etc. to ours. Don't think I'll be getting an Oscar nom though... Come on out!!!

Man....if I lived out that way, I would totally go! Maybe it will come out to Columbus, Ohio....I would totally go then!

Not that I know of but there is the Ann Arbor Film Fest which I have gone to many many times!

Just checked their deadline, which is---TODAY!!! Unless my director's on his toes, you may have to wait until 2008. UNLESS, we find a distributor BEFORE then...

Just saw Bullitt at SAM, closing out their Noir Fest. I was struck by how ugly they made San Francisco look & how much Robert Vaughn resembles Kyle M. Boy, someone should've made a Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie with him as Napoleon Solo!!! Their curator Greg Olsen (who books the films for all the TP Fests) said he really liked Curtains. Said that our leading lady Natasha & I were the best things about it (that seems the consensus), but that it could use a bit more editing (which I don't disagree with. We could lose a few more minutes). Wish more of you could see it. I sent a screener to one of my friends on the board a few months back. They were really happy to get it, but I haven't heard anything since. Was it THAT bad? Oh well....

Well, I appreciate being in Curtains, a film that was 5 years in the making, as I went from comic relief to hero in the long process (& was never paid a cent). Had a callback 2 days ago for a tobacco awareness PSA in which I would play what I can only describe as a nasty anthropomorphized wad of "chaw". I'd get to "float" around in a pool saying things like "I gotta go to the bathroom", & then go, in my pants, the pool, whatever... For this I'd get $350. And no, I couldn't make this stuff up. Hey, Bob, when do we start Curtains II?

I'll forgive you... THIS TIME!!! And I've NEVER even been in your kitchen, man! If you're talking about the winning TP Fest costume 2005 (alias Garmentbozia), you have had several opportunities to unload it (or try e-bay). The screening went quite well. Not quite a packed house, but it WAS raining kiitens & puppies (which is I guess why Rachel didn't make it). By the by, I GOT that PSA (where I play a wad of chaw)!!! It pays $350 (minus my agent's fee), so I can afford to buy that stick to beat the women off with, that I'll undoubtedly be needing BIG TIME!!!

HAY, Chris, the website is quite lovely as are the black and white images. That blonde Svetlana is GORGUSH, two! BUTT, why no trailer? Tell the powers that be it is thyme for the trailer to be up and running!!! Hope the film is as gud as it looks and I'm waiting for my DVD schreener. Susan

Yes, the trailer is the missing link. Bob's been busy making sure the film is just right & submiiting to fests. Yes, Svetlana is a force to be reckoned with (& a real Russian). Her beau Jerry Lloyd (Jerry Allen in Curtains) is in LA now, doing okay onstage & some indies. As for the screener, maybe Amanda will forward the one I sent her. Oh, that's Nick & his lady Emily in the gallery section. He's looking crazy ,hovering above her head...

I was wondering the same thing about the trailer. Let us know when it goes up. OT, but is SAM at it's original location or is it still at MOHAI?

The Noir series was at MOHAI. I did the PSA (look for it SOON on the No Stank You website) & it was lotsa fun. We're swimming in a representative mouth, that's actually a steamy, decorated hot tub, with a brown tarp on the bottom & instant coffee for color. How very Seattle: swimming in a steaming java pool!! My big moment is when I win the big fart contest (with a bit of help from a concealed airhose causing a giant flatulence bubble). And yes, all I'm wearing is a pair of tighty whiteys (& a speedo). Oh, & a white swimming cap. Sexy... oh yeah.

The "latest": our director has submitted to 24 international & US Fests. Still trying to get listed on IMDB. They need "proof" that the movie actually exists! What, we're pulling an elaborate hoax here?!
