Heard about this on the radio as I was driving home this evening. This sucks.

While I can not say I've ever loved Raymond, Boyle's performances in Young Frankenstein and Where the Buffalo Roam remain favorites of mine.

Very sad to hear about this/ I concur with PF on the roles in Young Frankenstein and Buffalo.

I'll always remember Peter Boyle as the mobster stumbling out of his newly exploded bathroom holding what he thinks is his severed penis.
That happens in Johnny Dangerously if you didn't know. Jack Nance appears as a priest.

Don't forget his weird badass performance in "Joe". I wouldn't watch his movies for years after that, until I realized just what a great character actor he really was.

Remember his pretty little daughter in that film, John?  Susan Sarandon.  First time I saw her on the big screen as I recall.

I had pre-screened that movie while David was in Amsterdam and when he returned, took him to see it.  Don't believe I have seen it since 1970.  Wonder if it would hold up.
