there was a survey in the paper here last week that found that 93% of people were not offended by "merry christmas" but 36% of people were offended by "happy holidays" since there isnt a real lot of christmas stuff around, I thought I'd ask what your favorite/worst christmas songs are. mine

favorites 1 Merry christmas (i Don't want to fight tonight-Ramones)

Worst:

anything by Christina Aguilera. I had to endure her tuneless wailing rendition of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" in the grocery store and my ears almost started bleeding.

a song called "Christmas in San Francisco" that my parents used to play. I don't know who sings it, but it's really bad.

absolute favorite is "happy xmas (war is over)" by john and yoko

and i hate all the barbra streisand christmas songs. my husband's family loves them.

honorable mention to "ave maria" by chris cornell, "christmas in hollis" by run dmc, "christmastime" by billy corgan, "oi to the world" cover by no doubt, and i like "do they know it's christmas" but "do they know it's halloween" is much better.
