There's so much that's making sense now.

You know, I was wondering if you have any tips on hibiscus trees. (haha, I know it's not exactly native to your neck of the woods) Mine suffered a devastating blow from this winter's frost. I pruned away all the dead wood but left its full height. It's pretty grim right now but little spring green buds are starting to emerge. Should I let it be? Or cut it back more drastically?

Maybe this was a request of one of your high end clients, but why include it on the website?  Just a tad uninspired?
