You know, Karen Carpenter played the drums...rather well I might add...

and me and Rush can't believe nobody has mentioned Mike Portnoy yet!

Also I like Meg White from the white stripes she is good.

Portnoy is beyond good though. he's feckin' amazing.

Tony Newman on Jeff Beck Group's Beck-Ola. After they broke up he joined some crappy hard rock band, then was never heard from again. (Damn, maybe it was Spinal Tap!!!)

Karen Carpenter...I loved that that her drumming is mentioned in Sonic Youth's great tribute song to the tragic life of Karen "Tunic"...Yes, Tim Alexander from Primus is a fantastic drummer, that is one of the reasons Tales From The Punchbowl is my fave (because it was his last with the band, but I think he recently rejoined) because he totally f-ing rocks on it...Manu Katche is a great session drummer who has done some great work with Peter Gabriel and Sting among other...good to see someone else mentioned good 'ol Stewie!

Well, he's on every track on the album. Didn't watch the Grammys, so dunno if he played live with 'em or not (likely no).  Rick Rubin produced Long Way & Stadium Arcadium, & he & Chad both appear in the Shut Up & Sing doc.
