Keith Moon - I was born shortly before he died but I still have this weird obssession over him...never did understand it...

Zak Starkey (Ringo's son) is great but that's cuz he actually plays just like KEITH MOON.

Yep, exactly...

But my all time favourite drummer is Christoph Schneider from Rammstein... Joey Jordison from Slipknot and Lars Ulrich from Metallica are also great!

Rebel, ELP is Emerson, Lake and Palmer, but you bring up an oversight - Bev Bevan of Electric Light Orchestra. Simple, great drummer.

And, I just got through working with one of the best drummers I have ever seen, Deen Castronovo (Journey, Bad English). He is the most solid, tastiest drummer I have worked with in a long time. Check out the new Journey record when it comes out in June.

DOH! and I love a bit of E.L.P. work thar, shame on me, I should've known better! lucky man is one of my fave tune . thank ya John for clearin that up :) gonna check out the work ya did with Deen, lookin forward to that, glad to see you are still around too guy! :)

just wonderin, do ya think  e.l.p, has  maybe almost same style in music  like  the moody blues?

Amazed that John Densmore aint been mentioned...he was a great drummer for The Doors, also Taylor Hawkins of the Foos!
