Or maybe you don't know what it is.

Synopsis lifted from Wikipedia:
"Peep Show features the often sexually frustrated lives of two twenty-somethings, Mark Corrigan and Jeremy Usbourne - former university companions (they sometimes refer to themselves as 'The El Dude Brothers' in reference to their student days) who now share a flat in Croydon, south London.

Mark is a loan manager and the more financially successful of the two but is extremely uncomfortable socially and pessimistic about nearly everything. Jeremy - who had recently split up with his girlfriend 'Big Suze' - found himself homeless until a chance meeting with Mark, who agreed to let him rent his spare room.

Jeremy usually has a much more optimistic and energetic outlook on the world, yet his 'talent' as a musician is yet to be recognised, and he is not as socially popular or sexually attractive as he would like to think."

These are the two last seasons, or series, as the Brits say.

Yes!  I really like Peep Show.  I missed the first series but I enjoyed the last two.

I do enjoy a nice slice of Mitchell and Webb, especially their last series containing the marvellous Numberwang quiz show. They've just finished filming this, but I don't know how it will compare with Peep Show. I would assume the movie will be more mainstream and not quite so dark as their series...

My theory by A. Elk, brackets, Miss, brackets. This theory goes as follows and begins now. All brontosauruses are thin at one end, much much thicker in the middle, and then thin again at the far end. That is my theory, it is mine, and it belongs to me, and I own it, and what it is, too.

Peep Show is top class. Very original concept for a sit-com. I thought the shoting style would be unwatchable when I first heard about it but it works really well. I hope they do another one.

From Wikipedia: "It has been recommisioned for a fourth series, amid speculation that it was to be axed after pulling in only 1.3 million viewers per episode on average."

My favourite from the sketch show was the two 2nd WW officers, "You don't think we are the bad guys do you?". They could make a series on that one gag alone.

'I'm sure they have a wide range of human emotions.  They could be full of hubris'.

Quality.  This is the first series I've watched, but I'll now watch from the beginning.

Yup, I've been watching series 4.  I loved the opening episode with Mark meeting Sophie's family and Jeremy tagging along of course.

Mark's eyes creep me out. I assume he has brown eyes, but all I see are huge pupils.

Edit: From David Mitchell's IMDb page - "Has aniridia, a condition which causes the iris (the coloured part) of the eye not to develop properly, giving him his distinctive dark eyes."  Now I feel bad.

Love, love, love "Peep Show" and generally anything Mitchell and/or Webb are in.

Anyone seen "Confetti"? It's a low budget indie Brit flick about a wedding magazine called, "Confetti" running a Most Original Wedding Of The Year Comp. You end up with 3 couples doing a themed wedding. One couple are tennis mad, one are musicals mad and the other are naturists (Webb and the woman who plays "Sophie" in Peep Show). You def. get plenty of ops to see his number "wang" (quite brave of him, really). It's a reasonably funny film. Very British in it's humor. Lots of irony and self reverence.

Really chuffed we've got a 4th series of Peep Show, although missed last Friday's installment. Would love "Spaced" to come back, but alas it ain't gonna happen according to Jessica Stevenson and Simon Pegg!

On the second day he came
With a single red rose
Said "Will you give me your loss and your sorrow?"
I nodded my head as I lay on the bed
He said, "If I show you the roses will you follow?"

On the third day he took me to the river
He showed me the roses and we kissed
And the last thing I heard was a muttered word
As he stood smiling above me
With a rock in his fist

They call me the wild rose
But my name was Eliza Day
Why they call me it I do not know
For my name was Eliza Day

Booth, have you tried The Smoking Room or Garth Marenghi's Dark Place?  I think you might enjoy them.  Or then again...

The last episode was excellent, and would have worked as the last ever episode. Thankfully there's a series 5 waiting.

Lucy, I have seen one episode of Dark Place, and I did not really care for it. What little I have seen of Smoking Room seemed like it would be a good dialogue driven show.

Dark Place is excellent, Booth! Maybe you need to give it a few more shots? It is an aquired taste. As for The Smoking Room, I've only ever seen the odd episode here and there. It owes a lot to The Royale Family in its dialogue & observation driven, no obvious punchline stance. What I have seen, I've like very much.

So I gave Dark Place another shot. I think it's just not for me. I didn't even crack a smile.

OK, but how many episodes did you give a shot at? I agree that some aren't rib tickling funny, but I do find them entertaining nonetheless for the spoofiness alone. That said, there are a few episodes that are utterly hillarious, most notably the one where Liz discovers her telepathic/psychic abilities (think that's an early ep.).

Peep Show is fantastic, by far the funniest thing from the UK since The Office. <3

I've seen two episodes. The one with the green liquid that turned people into apes, and the one with the green fog that turned people into broccoli.
