Quick questions, 1st is there a way to load music on to the ipod from say my brothers computer (he has itunes with songs i woul;d like) and not wipe out what is on mine, just add to it? also any other little tricks people have found out about that may help with overall experience. I am fine importing music from my cds, but that is the extent of my knowledge.

GMA, What brand of ipod do you have? If you have an Apple Brand I'm pretty sure your compelled to use their Sync program. I have an iRiver brand and I'm able to Sync from Windows Media Player. If your unsure, check out the owners guide or the manufacturers web page.

even if it is on sync mode it will not wipe out your music. this is because each itunes registers its respective ipod. don't quote me on this but i have done it several times.

It's an apple, so will my brothers computer (i tunes)recognize that my ipod is not his, and then allow me to upload what I want from his selections? I guess the worse thing that can happen is i have to sync up on my computer later. I am probably worrying about nothing. thanks for the responses
