| QUOTE: Your welcome, Amanda. Just for the record, when there is a movie made from a book, I ALWAYS like the books better and am somewhat disappointed by the movies, some more than others. |
Same here. I've had it where I've gone back and read books after I've seen the films and STILL ended up liking the books more than the films. I don't know what it is...maybe because I like the way I'm able to put the story together in my head better than the way the filmmaker put it on screen? Dunno. At any rate, I think I'm going to have to read the book of Hannibal Rising now because I saw the movie this past weekend and it wasn't bad! I went in with no expectations because I'd heard both good and bad opinions about it and I wanted to try and be neutral. It was actually kind of fun to watch a film and root for the "bad guy"...don't know that I ever personally felt Hannibal was a bad guy to begin with, but you know what I mean. :)

Glad you liked it! I saw your quote and realized I did a horrible job on the grammar, so just had to go back and fix it. I think you will like the book better.

I don't think I'll be paying to watch this one, so I'll probably wait until it's shown on TV.
Gettysburg, day one. The South is winning.
