| QUOTE: Anna Nicole was the female incarnation of Mike Tyson. Too pretty to go unnoticed even in a small Texan town. He too strong and talented to be overlooked. Each of them had a bare minimum of individuals in their lives they could trust. Neither was mentally equipped for the difficulty of managing their increasingly complex lives filled with leeches, hangers-on and those looking to prosper from proximity to the money making source. Anna, at least, had her son. HAD being the operative word. Tyson had Cus D'Amato until his death in 1985. Anna's mother -- now there's a piece of work -- looks to be an opportunistic slug. If your own mother/father is not your ally -- or non-existent -- then finding someone to trust in the larger universe becomes difficult. Anyway, I find them both sad and tragic figures. Sympathetic too. Susan | And there was the ear biting thing they had in common, too... Not only tragic, but also lewdicrussssss....

Looks like overdose and blood infection. Blood infection caused by an injection in the buttocks with a dirty needle three days before her death. Man, that had to be the dirtiest needle in history to act that fast and strongly! To me that is over the top and sounds like it could have been purposely infected for her use. Did she pull off that trick-a bit difficult, not impossible either, to geez herself in the rear, or did someone enable, supply the deadly needle, and/or do the injection for her ? and if this account is true did she take the deadly amount of sedative herself or was it supplied and/or administered by someone? " According to the team of doctors at The National Enquirer and Star Magazine, Anna Nicole Smith died from an overdose of the sleeping medication, chloral hydrate. However, they claim that if she hadn't overdosed, she would have died anyway from a raging blood infection she received in the Bahamas, from injecting an unknown substance in her left buttock with an unsterilized needle three days before her death." from the National Enquirer and Star. This could be murder. Investigate the son's death again and get that little baby away from Howard Stern and company and deliver to child protective people immediately for her safety. ------------ ----------------- ---------------- -------------- One other "story"unofficial again, floating around is that ANS had a 75mg shot of demerol 2 minuites before her death? If this is true who administered that? Sure to slow her respiration in her condition to flatline. Also notice her 'caretakers 'allowed her to go days with a 105 adult temperature before a trip to the hospital? I had a 103 adult temperature once and had my wife take me to the emergency room post haste. I sense foul play with both Danny and Anna. Person(s) of interest? Howard K. Stern and her inner circle including Big Mo her bodyguard..

It depends on how quickly she absorbed the chloral hydrate. It's possible she was still aware enough to inject herself. Chloral hydrate was one of the drugs Marilyn Monroe took the night she overdosed (the other was Nembutal.) Maybe Anna was doing an MM impersonation again. BTW, It's as likely that Anna was murdered as Marilyn was (which is to say, not very.) Marilyn was very much able to take the lethal dose found in her body (orally) before she slipped into sleep. Why the conspiracy theories? Can sad drug addicted celebrities not kill themselves?

Yes, sad, addicted celebrities can kill themselves. Especially when their psychiatrist, lawyer, bodyguard, nurse, some or all of whom are derelict in their jobs, facilitates the act. Septic ass absess, 105 fever should have called for the nurse to direct the patient to a hospital the first day IMO. Instead allowing continued access to a load of deadly drugs to a 105 degree depressive patient makes that act of killing herself easy. No ? And it seems like a possibility of foul play exists and should be checked out. Anyway that's all I'm saying.

She lived sloppy (and was a junkie.) I'm sure she hand picked her employees to allow her to live like a sloppy junkie. I sure wouldn't want that nurse taking care of me. There's probably reason for a lawsuit to get handed to someone, but why? When a hooker ODs in a shitty hotel room, do we point fingers?

It is a sad deal. That poor dead hooker in the shitty hotel room doesn't have a posssible 475 million that goes with her. I think you make a good point about Anna choosing derelict phychiatrists and doctors who wrote like crazy, a bodyguard and nurse who allow Anna free reign. Stern was, an enabler, still possibly more than that, but Anna ultimately called the shots. No pun intended. I mean, like you pointed out they were her hires. Who knows, if Anna had avoided that sepsis 105 attack , attached to her baby daughter, reduced the drugs intake she might have chosen to live . Just conjecture since it was apparently an accidental overdose , not suicide. FWIW from TMZ "Sources say Moe also told cops that in the months leading up to Smith's death, Howard K. Stern gave her "some types of drugs," though he didn't specifically know which. As he put it, "Anna was in a cloud."
And there's this: Although Moe has not told cops about this, he privately says that Howard K. Stern had certain patterns of conduct when it came to Anna Nicole, and that pattern changed the day she died. We're told it has to do with how Howard would constantly check up on Anna, but he went MIA during the critical time before her death, and Moe says that was "highly strange"

Believe me Angel, I am no cospiracyphile. But just for FWIW here is a link at the bottom, and an excerp from a recent article by an Australian investigative journalist: For four decades there have been rumours that Marilyn Monroe's death was not a simple suicide. Now a Los Angeles-based Australian writer and director, Philippe Mora, has uncovered an FBI document that throws up a chilling new scenario. The screen legend Marilyn Monroe...the FBI report says she "expected to have her stomach pumped out and get sympathy for her suicide attempt", but it suggests she was left to die. Photo: Harold Lloyd/The Harold Lloyd Collection
BOBBY KENNEDY'S affair with the screen idol Marilyn Monroe has been documented, but a secret FBI file suggests the late US attorney-general was aware of - and perhaps even a participant in - a plan "to induce" her suicide. The detailed three-page report implicates the Hollywood actor Peter Lawford, Monroe's psychiatrist, staff and her publicist in the plot. The allegations suggest the 36-year-old actress, who had a history of staging attention-seeking suicide attempts, was deliberately given the means to fake another suicide on August 4, 1962. But this time, it is suggested, she was allowed to die as she sought help. The document, hidden among thousands of pages released under freedom-of-information laws last October, was received by the FBI on October 19, 1964 - two years after her death - and titled simply "ROBERT F KENNEDY". It was compiled by an unnamed former special agent working for the then Democrat governor of California, Pat Brown, and forwarded to Washington by Curtis Lynum, then head of the San Francisco FBI. Despite a disclaimer that it could not be sourced or authenticated, it was considered important enough to immediately circulate to the FBI's five most senior officers, including director J. Edgar Hoover's right-hand man, Clyde Tolson. The report was in effect buried for decades as a classified document, and even the released version contains censored sections. Never before mentioned despite thousands of articles, books and documentaries about her death, it details aspects of Kennedy's on-and-off affair with the movie star, including sex parties and a lesbian dalliance, as well as her emotional departure from 20th Century Fox and descent into depression. Critically, it raises an alleged conspiracy, apparently overseen by Lawford, for Monroe to unwittingly commit suicide with the drug Seconal, a barbiturate used to treat insomnia and relieve anxiety. The document gives no precise reason why she would be killed but hints it may be linked to her threats to make public her affair with Kennedy, as other conspiracy theories have previously claimed. It states in part: "Peter Lawford, [censored words blacked out] knew from Marilyn's friends that she often made suicide attempts and that she was inclined to fake a suicide attempt in order to arouse sympathy. "Lawford is reported as having made 'special arrangements' with Marilyn's psychiatrist, Dr Ralph Greenson, from Beverley Hills. The psychiatrist was treating Marilyn for emotional problems and getting her off the use of barbiturates. On her last visit to him he prescribed Seconal tablets and gave her a prescription for 60 of them, which was unusual in quantity especially since he saw her frequently. On the date of her death … her housekeeper put the bottle of pills on the night table. It is reported that the housekeeper and Marilyn's personal secretary and press agent, Pat Newcomb, were co-operating in the plan to induce suicide." It goes on to say that on the same day, Kennedy had booked out of the Beverley Hills Hotel and flown to San Francisco where he booked into the St Charles Hotel, owned by a friend. "Robert Kennedy made a telephone call from St Charles Hotel, San Francisco, to Peter Lawford to find out if Marilyn was dead yet." Lawford called and spoke to Monroe "then checked again later to make sure she did not answer". The document claims the housekeeper, Eunice Murray, who had been hired by the actress on the advice of Dr Greenson, then called the psychiatrist. "Marilyn expected to have her stomach pumped out and get sympathy for her suicide attempt. The psychiatrist left word for Marilyn to take a drive in the fresh air but did not come to see her until after she was known to be dead." Officially, the actress was found by Murray in the early hours of August 5, naked on her bed lying on top of her telephone. The others are now dead, too. The FBI report says Kennedy had promised Monroe he would divorce his wife and marry her, but the actress eventually realised he had no intention of doing so. About this time, he had told her not to worry about 20th Century Fox cancelling her contract - "he would take care of everything". When nothing happened, she called him at work and they had "unpleasant words. She was reported to have threatened to make public their affair." Hoover, keeper of America's secrets, was obsessed with the private life of celebrities, particularly those with leftist leanings. The files show the FBI tracked Monroe from the Cold War mid-1950s to her death in 1962, but particularly after she met and married the playwright Arthur Miller, who was being watched as a possible communist.

Not belittle the passing of a fellow human being or anything, but I just loved The Daily Show's slant on the media coverage devoted to Anna Nicole's death. Their headline?.... Death Of A Person Followed by fantastically satorial snippets of real "news" coverage whereby the reporters are just talking about nothing but vein speculation. Hillarious!
On the second day he came With a single red rose Said "Will you give me your loss and your sorrow?" I nodded my head as I lay on the bed He said, "If I show you the roses will you follow?" On the third day he took me to the river He showed me the roses and we kissed And the last thing I heard was a muttered word As he stood smiling above me With a rock in his fist They call me the wild rose But my name was Eliza Day Why they call me it I do not know For my name was Eliza Day

Did you see the 'Death Fridge' clips? I love the way the talking heads flit between faux-sombre and full-on salacious slavering. No wait, I don't love it.

Here is an article from TMZ http://www.tmz.com/ : The Broward County Medical Examiner confirmed that none of the 11 drugs that were found in Anna Nicole Smith's hotel room were prescribed to Smith.
FOX News anchor Greta Van Susteren obtained documents from Dr. Joshua Perper's office which shows that of the 11 drugs, eight were prescribed to Howard K. Stern, two were prescribed to Alex Katz and one was prescribed to Anna's personal shrink, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich. We don't know who Katz is, but Perper acknowledged one thing that was clear -- Dr. Eroshevich wrote all 11 prescriptions.
Perhaps most interesting, the chloral hydrate that was the major cause of Anna's death (and was prescribed to Stern) was in a duffel bag in the hotel room. As Greta said, Anna was too weak to even get out of bed to go to the bathroom, so how did she get out of bed to rummage through the duffle bag and get the chloral hydrate? Van Susteren pressed Perper for an answer; the doctor said he asked Stern, Eroshevich and the bodyguard if they gave her the drugs and they all said the didn't. [ OK then , than ends that question. ]
Perper also acknowledged it was a bad idea for Anna to take sedatives in the morning, given she was already too weak to get out of bed. Perper said even if someone else gave her the drugs, "It's not wise for sure, but it's not homicide." [ A legal determination from a medical man. That ends that avenue of questioning. ] [ Read the warning on a bottle of a controlled sustance that prohibits giving that substance to anyone besides the person the perscription is for.] Dr, Pepper never did , I guess. ] As DL knows , we all like a mystery.

It astounds me that this stuff is still being brought up. The late 50's and early 60's were a strange time for the FBI- lots of paranoia and fabrication, with particular focus on the entertainment industry. (read the Donald Spoto bio for "what really went on between Marilyn Monroe and the Kennedys." It's not exciting, but reality often in't.) I really don't think it's trickery to give a self destructive person the means to overdose. In theory, if she ingested the pills, whatever her intentions were, how much of that can be blamed on other people? Even if there is a tiny bit of truth about RFK asking Lawford if Marilyn was dead yet, a lot of folks probably did. Like Anna, she was a train wreak. As far as the other, less famous blonde... It's not unusual to take other people's Rx drugs, or to get your friends to have them prescribed for them- perhaps even with a well paid doctor's help. Like the article said, "it's not homicide."

On a day filled with huge news stories like Don Imus and the woman's basketball team at Rutgers University, the really big news just came out. The DNA results are in and... Anna Nicole's baby was sired by LARRY BIRKHEAD! But we pretty much knew that, didn't we? Susan

(from thesuperficial.com) Two of Anna Nicole Smith's diaries from the early 1990's were made available by the Associated Press yesterday and are to be auctioned off in a few weeks. The diaries include insights on her struggles with food, her use of drugs, and her deep love for her then-husband, J. Howard Marshall II. On her weight "I've been really stressed out lately and depressed and I can't quit eating. I feel like a pig." On meeting Paul Marciano, CEO of Guess "O my Gosh!! Paul Marsiano called today to see if I got his books also I'm gonna go to San Antonio to do photo shoot. I'm so excited!! I can't believe this. This could be it." The entry ends with five smiley faces. On buying $3,000 worth of clothing at Neiman Marcus "I'm so happy they look great. I hope it empresses Paul Marsiano. ... I'm starving!! I've been starving myself." On drugs On June 13, 1992, she wrote that she was hung over and watched a movie at home, adding that she "Took a Zandrex!" On J. Howard Marshall, who was 63 years older than her "Howard has been buying me som jewelry but he call me 15 or 20 times a day it drives me crazy. I love him but he aggravates me somtimes. I don't no what to do about Paul hes strange guy. I hate for men to want sex all the time." The entry ends with the word "Chow!" written in large letters and underlined. More on J. Howard Marshall "Hes so very weak and fragile When I touch him Im afraid he might break. If Jesus desides to take him I dont no what I'll do. I love him so much it hurts me to site and watch him when hes hurting I just want to hold him touch him let him no how much I care." ******** Chow? There's irony in that, I think.
