A week or two ago CNN did a piece on a couple of atheists that felt they were ostracized, but that's not the interesting part. After the little piece they had a little discussion that was so weird you have to see it to believe it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPHnXrU5JzU
The people taking part were a Pulitzer Prize winner , a sub-Coulter troll, and the voice of reason; an ESPN analyst(!)
Cut to yesterday; Darwin Day of all days. CNN do a follow-up to their discussion after a bunch of people had complained for whatever strange reason. Why would you need an atheist in an atheist discussion anyway?
They started off with a short interview with Richard Dawkins, then the new panel, this time with a reverend, the president of the organization American Atheists, and radio talk-show host. It wasn't very interesting, but are the CNN people so stupid that they needed a second take to get it right?
