Hi All, I started watching watching Rome on HBO here in the states and I'm hooked. It really fills that hole left by the Carnivale cancellation. However I was told that there would only be two seasons. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Yes, I can confirm that this will be the last season for Rome. Kinda sucks because it's pretty good.

Hmmm...that's interesting...is this a case of the show just being two seasons or are there other mitigating circumstances. My sister loves this show and so does my brother-in-law for that matter, he is into historical based drama like this. I would like to check it out someday myself.

Rome is just too expensive for HBO to keep on anymore
