What's with Jack Nicholson's head?

He's playing a cancer patient in an upcoming movie. So there's a chance that if he hadn't been wearing sunglasses, we would have seen a lack of eyebrows too. So if he had been standing next to Scorsese it would have been like Kiera Knightley standing next to Pamela Anderson.

That was Jack?! I thought it was Britney!!!

That'll be a movie I miss for sure! Bleh, to all cancer patient movies. Feh to all terminal illness movies.

Nicholson and co-star Morgan Freeman are filming director Rob Reiner's film "The Bucket List," a buddy comedy/drama about two terminally ill men who flee a cancer ward to complete a list of things they want to do before they die. It is scheduled for release in November.

- Hang on, I can't run very fast, what with most of my lungs removed. Oh God, I got to puke. *Barf* Oh man, blood. Dying hurts.
- Again with the dying?! You're such a downer. You got to stay upbeat if anyone's gonna watch this movie. Look at the fun side of the prolonged suffering of death.
- What are you talking about? You're dying of cancer too.
- Yeah, but I've got good Hodgkin's.
- Ha ha ha

- Ha ha ha

*They both puke blood*

Yeah, I coulda done without the interpretive dance bits. I so didn't understand that at all. Thank you for trying to be artsy and all, but please. The telecast ran over by almost an hour...we could have eliminated all the ridiculous dancing and been right on the nose.

I'm relatively happy over all the winners, though I'm definitely disgusted with Jennifer Hudson winning because frankly I think her performance was about as remarkable as the one Marisa Tomei received her Oscar for with My Cousin Vinny. I had an overwhelming urge to punch her in the head during her acceptance speech. And frankly I was disappointed that An Inconvenient Truth won because it's about as much a documentary as Michael Moore's Farenheit 9/11. But whatever. Between the Dixie Chicks sweeping the Grammys and this little win for Gore, the Los Angeles basin must be smothered in smug right now.

Are you talking about the shadow puppet people? I loved that!  They were forming silhouette logos (Snakes on a Plane, Devil Wears Prada shoe, James Bond's gun). What's not to get? Plus, they took maybe a minute total. And whatever you thought of Hudson's performance, she AND Blanchette were LEAD CHARACTERS, not supporters.     Wrong category!!! And first time actors should not win. Plus,  she & Forest were the only ones to THANK GAWD. I thanked GAWD that no one else felt that the only reason they won was through divine intervention.  More about AIT later...

I agree, Chris. I loved Pilobolus. I had seen them perform about ten years ago in Malibu and thought they were wonderful. No shadow puppets but what they do with their bodies is quite unique and innovative. And fun!

Check out their website.
