Rena has recently competed the film DARK REEL in which she plays a detective along side Tony Todd, her co-star from Candyman, Ed Furlong (American X, Terminator) and Lance Henriksen (Alien, Millennium). The up and coming director, Josh Eisenstadt... directs the film. Josh chose to cast Rena against her usual type cast to show her range and open doors in new directions by showcasing her strength and multi-dimensional abilities. Also, two other project are in pre-production, INNER BALANCE written and directed by Josh Eisenstadt and BUTTERFLY LANE, an original screenplay written by Rena and to be directed by Eisenstadt.

Mr Chows is just about my favorite all-time restaurant in LA. Perhaps the only Chinese restaurant where you can have a real dessert and cuppa coffee afterward. There are almost always paparazzi stationed on the street however. I've had many a fine dinner there but this is the first time I've ever heard about the BFF mutual flashing trend. I'm not sure if this could be viewed as a positive or a negative development...

This is probably good publicity for Dark Reel  

I'm glad Rena is thinking about the environment while she enjoys the warm California breeze  

Yeah, boffo. Last week TMZ had a photo of Dark Reel's star, Ed Furlong smoking a cigarette as he stood outdoors in his own yard, within some sort of proximity of his six-month-old son.  Since the paparazzi use flattening telephoto lens to spy on their subjects, it is difficult to ascertain if the smoke went into the child's face or was out of range.  Some suggested there was a glass window/door between the offending ciggie and the baby. 

Whaddever.  The waggish became indignant over the outrage of a father smoking. 

I hope Tony Todd and Lance Henriksen don't pull some crazy stunt outside Mr Chows next week!  I shudder to imagine...
