Winter hit right at the very end of Nov., December until today never hit 60 f !!  I saw ice, a big slab of it and i saw frost on grass --now these are 8 am workday events. but man, i have had that heater on 73.5 alot this month. I don't like to wear much in my "office".

Hey, so get this -i'm in the apartment living situation after decades, and a guy -i don't even know his name if i ever heard it, ( i got a couple bloody injuries on my back hand --raymond the do it yourself mechanic-sheesh.) anyway this guy goes " Were you in that fight yesterday ?? "....No i sez..." i heard two old guys had it out ." Ouch...I'm in the fourth quarter of the game now my friends :)

Anyway today this 10 complete sexy fantasy looking, lovely figure and sweet personality and smile, did i mention fanfntastic body. She sees me this AM as the temps pack it out.
I had used my pocket purell dispenser to see she didn't get on a germy workstation. I did her hands and some on fresh toweling to take care of the phone, surfaces. And no I'm not a germophobe. I fixed the control in the toilet tank that was broke and running--no bowl envolved. Just the relatively clean tank top .ok/ so ah yeah. I am her "Legend" her Clint eastWOOD bevis. Never heard that comparison before. Now this bell ringer I could hang with, advise, take her under my wing-like see needs any help . ha ha. Anyway I have three new girlfriends i didn't a couple weeks ago. Address is known, and hey i can ring the phone.

So, today we finally hit 60 with some blue sky--shirtsleeve.   oh oh wait it looks cloudier and cooler out again. This is my 3rd winter back in no cal and the first two winters never happened--just spring, summer ,fall,spring....But this December has been as bad as it gets here.

Hey they raised my healthcare payment 10% , I'm going higher deductible $5000-still with complete coverage at the end of the deductible. Deductible was $2700 and my premium goes to $290 from a proposed 360/month !! Just thought you should know this important stuff.

Party time -- loosey goosey.....

We haz snow.  About 4 inches or so, which fell overnight.  For where I live, that's quite a lot of snow...which means the country will now grind to a halt as we can't cope with "adverse weather conditions".  Let's not forget, this is the country whose trains stopped working due to, "leaves on the line"...

My theory by A. Elk, brackets, Miss, brackets. This theory goes as follows and begins now. All brontosauruses are thin at one end, much much thicker in the middle, and then thin again at the far end. That is my theory, it is mine, and it belongs to me, and I own it, and what it is, too.

There is a modest range of hills to my west. The other day I couldn't believe my eyes. There was SNOW on a couple of the hilltops. This December has been unusually cold . We can't hit a lousy 60 f yet this month ! Ave daily high for the month is 56 f.

I have cracked out sweaters , winter coats, a winter lid--things i hadn't needed since i got here more than a couple years ago.

Sorry I missed your message here Rebel, haven't really been on the puter the past few days. Up to my neck in wrapping paper! LOL

Oh -- and as far as weather goes, we're supposed to get hammered with another snow storm.  Supposed to be a pretty big one, so that has our travel plans for Christmas up in limbo.  May have to leave days earlier to get ahead of it.

that's a o.k. Rocky :) as for the weather here, the other day was like 75 and the next day snow, purty chilly here, should warm up to about 45 later today. I like fall/ spring and at times, summer weather here. don't mind a bit of wintery snow, I just cannot get a grip driving in that type of thing, took me awhile just to get to my local store which is just down the street! got a bit scarey. seen cars trucks zig zagging , the roads were icy too.

Yeah--up in Superior it was pretty nasty, blizzard conditions. It snowed/sleeted/rained/dropped freezing rain...and had about 50 mph winds.  Some places got 20 inches of snow.  They kept predicting it was going to be like the Halloween storm of '91 when we got 37 inches in two days.  So far the most snow I heard of was about 20 inches.  Not the same, but still a whopper.

We left a day earlier than normal to do the 4 hour drive to Eric's parents' house.  Good thing too, that was Tuesday, we saw my mom on Wednesday and then that night the storm hit.  We didn't go anywhere for days.  Drove home today--saw several cars in the ditch and then about an hour from home there was one semi trailer on its side and another off in the ditch--we didn't see the accident but it looked like they almost hit eachother head on.  Abandoned cars were all over today left over from the past few days.  Scary stuff--roads were icy coming home today--almost turned around and went back to his mom and dads this morning.  But we made it! Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! :)

Got about 4 inches of snow...maybe get another 3-4 by tonight.  It's above zero now though--which is why we have the white stuff.  Is about 18 out right now...but by tonight the windchills are supposed to reach near 30 below. EW!!

Conditions here continue to be cold grey with no real rain. Temp cannot hit 58 f for five solid weeks. Caught a break with brief afternoon sun a couple days ago- but 55 seems to be the limit.

Ohh BOOO HOOO no blue skies and 78 f for me. Eh I've done become a hot house flower. looking at land in Baja. Now I'm getting why all those old jews went to Florida.

Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow.

Fuck off and do it in the week so i don't have to go to work, rather than limiting my ability to go buy books at the weekend.

Mother Nature really does have it in for the UK. Cheeky bitch.

Does David Lynch still do his weather reports on his site ???  I always found it worth at least a smirk at the guy's humor penchant and that -slightly nasal slow straight shooter quality.

An unprecedented continuation of practically no sun for some fifty two days. Well, I have seen a patch of blue and even sunlight once twice tops this month. but by the time (10 minutes) I get outside it is all grey and rain. Rain. That is a good thing-days of heavy at times downpour rain. Noisy night rain and strong winds-cool Beavis. This is better than the cold, overcast without rain routine that was December.

Have you noticed that now, a month after the solstice, the sunset has gone

from 4:41 to 5:20 today- at my global position.

The tide is coming back in to those sunny, comfortable, loooong days that await us.

(I am most apt to play TP stuff in February)

Rain-rain-rain.  Lots of it!  Heavy relentless downpours until it does relent.  The sun even came out around 3:00 today.  Then rain, thunder (!), lightning (!), hail, wind, RAIN.  Hard rain.  Then it stops.  Today was supposed to be our big storm with the weekend drying up.

Warm, damn warm.  It has been, to date, the warmest January on record here in the PNW, or so I am told.

My personal data reflects this.  At my house we keep the heat off at night.  I uncork it in the A.M. and today was the first morning it came on this week.

Some rain, not much but some.

I'll take it. (The warm and the rain.)

Well we had actuall cold here for a few weeks being in the 20s! We havent had weather that cold for that long since the 1970s. I couldnt believe it we had sleet here! I thought it was rain but it was not and in the northern part of FL we had actual snow!

Right now its about 76 out though here in central florida. I was born in Providence, Rhode Island & moved to NY shortly after that. As of now though, Ive been down here for about 28 years so my blood has thinned out and I cant wait to get back to the beach and swim!

Finally a break this afternoon--80% blue sky, plenty of sun. WE still couldn't reach the normal high mean temp, blue skys and sun withstanding-or do i mean not withstanding? The best afternoon since November left some 58 days ago- 58 days of cold, humid, overcast -mostly 1-2 thousand feet overcast. Been cranking the heating unit mercilessly. This is not the weather i signed up for here in the Marin County valley.

Last January we had a welcome warm, sunny week- one day it hit 79 f;

Does David Lynch still do his weather reports at his website? I haven't heard anything about DL.com in a long, long time?

More rain here but never mind about that!  Any of you snowbirds have some photos to share?  I have been loving the shots of the Blizzard of 2010 today.  Here are some from the Baltimore Sun if anyone else craves snow photos.  Lots of shots of dogs in the snow, snow drifted over cars, BBQs and decks.  I just love seeing the photos though I'm just as happy not to live with it.

Come on -- photographs of YOUR snow scenes!

I like this thread.

We continue with overcast and sub mean temps. We had one nice day Monday but we can't hit 60 f and the mean high is now 61. The first tree bloomed on Feb 01. The days are longer with sunset at 5:45 instead of 4:41 back on the solstice. That is welcome. Hey the sun just broke thru.

Enjoy guys.
