Hi! I'm Eazy Diane, a fan of films, videogames, comics, music, books, and other shit like that. I really enjoyed Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Eraserhead and The Elephant Man, and loved the hell out of Mulholland Drive so you could say I'm a bit of a Lynch fan.

Introduce yourself, right on! Zack from Halifax, Nova Scotia. I'm 26, I like short walks on the beach and things that make you go "hmmm". Actually, I don't like any of those things.

I figured that this would be the best place to write my first post. My name is Mark. I am from the glorious part of England called Lancashire. Around here, in my hometown of Wigan, we like to eat pies. As a result, my interest in Twin Peaks is founded in pies. Apple pie is my personal favourite, with a touch of vanilla ice-cream on the side. I have just completed a degree in English Literature and am about to carry on my studies -- as of September -- in the realm of books, on a course titled "Literature, Culture, and Modernity." I'd say that the best way to describe myself would be as a book-worm -- note the username "Lemuel Gulliver," taken from Jonathan Swift's "Gulliver's Travels;" an amazing read, for sure. I joined the forum in order to take part in active discussions relating to all manner of subjects, focusing on Twin Peaks and its world. Moreover, it'd also be cool to make a few interesting friends along the way. The majority of forums I've joined in the past have been saturated with goons. Through reading the threads on this forum, I can see that this isn't the case here. I look forward to chatting with you all. Regards, Mark.

I can't believe I've posted 16 times yet I still haven't introduced myself. My name is John, but you can all call me Cit, which is short for Citizen, my handle on most other forums. I guess you all know what my name on the Gazette means. It's been a week since I started Twin Peaks and a couple of days since I've finished it all, so I can't wait to get into the shit. I enjoy watching films and aspire to become a filmmaker in the future. My biggest influences are Quentin Tarantino and Stanley Kubrick, along with, to a lesser extent, Kevin Smith. Other hobbies include jogging -which I haven't done in over a month- and reading. I've recently started to watch more of David Lynch's works, my first few one being Mulholland Dr. (which I consider a real masterpiece) and Eraserhead in 2006 and 2007, respectively, and Blue Velvet, The Elephant Man and a few others in the past few months. Anyways, this appears to be a damn fine forum and I can see a lot of dedicated Lynch/TP fans on it, of course, so I guess I'll be enjoying my stay here.

25 years old. History student. Copenhagen, Denmark. I originally signed up to the Gazette back in... 2002, I think. I don't post a lot, but still enjoy keeping up on the forum. Naturally, my interest in Lynch has not diminished over the years. Anyway, just felt like writing a quick re-introduction. Other things I enjoy: Listening to / making music, documentary films, graphic novels (particularly Grant Morrison's works), mythology, post-apocalyptic stuff and the occasional video game.

To introduce myself is simple. Since I worked nights during its first airing locally I missed the whole Twin Peaks experience the first time around and recently found it online at CBS.com for free during a bout of insomnia caused by having an eight year old daughter prone to nightmares. I am a stay at home dad. I have many questions and would like to mine the efforts of those who came before me. Any idea where the good theories are written down?
My name is Ken and I am taking a screnewriting class at college here in the home of Twin Peaks, Los Angeles. The local comic-con used to have set dressers selling off props from the series. Never did buy any of it though.
I do have one Twin Peaks joke if such interests anyone.

i'm carrie, i'm 27, live in CT. recently became obsessed with TP after renting the pilot from Blockbuster... then i HAD to have the rest of the discs. screamed and threw things when i saw the end of the last episode. probably a stupid question, but is anyone here working on some TP fanfic?

ello, I'm Olivier from Belgium. I used to be a member on this board a few years ago, went by the nickname 'dose', and now I'm back! 29 going on 30, married, father of one cute little girl, Judith, and I pretend to be an IT manager during the day. I'm quite obsessed with anything Lynch, especially TP. (Saw it about 7 times up to now, viewing 8 will commence soon)...

Hi, just dropping an intro. I've been a fan of TP/FWWM since their release. I've always wanted to go to TPFest, but still haven't. Looking to do it this year, finally, if my schedule permits. Grateful to find this board!

Hi everyone, I'm a long time friend of the Gazette but I don't post so much these days. My name's Ray. I'm from the UK, the South Coast and later London, but have spent quite a bit of time in Hong Kong, which is where I live these days. I'm a teacher. I'm also a graphic designer and DJ. I got married last year and in a couple of month's I'm going to be a father for the first time. Life's pretty exciting for me right now... I try and give everyone a fair crack, but I have a low tolerance for ignorant, narrow minded people. Oh and repetitive bores with loud voices. I love people who love life. People with big hearts, broad smiles, wicked senses of humour and intelligence. If they like good music, look hot and are smarter than me then I tend to marry them. I've been mesmerised by Twin Peaks since is first airing in the UK. My friends and I used to meet up after each episode for a coffee and slowly dissect each episode, it's meaning, any possible hidden clues and recount all the wonderful, whimsical nuances that made it such a charming and menacing thrill ride. I'm still a big fan, but it's probably about time I watched the whole thing over again. EDIT: Just noticed this is post #88 which is a very lucky number in Chinese culture. Just thought I'd share that!
x-ray if your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it...

Hello, I'm Doppelgänger, an 18-year-old stranger from an unknown place on the Earth. I love films, books, art and Twin Peaks is almost the only thing i ever watch on tv but it's quite sufficient. Lynch is one of the best directors ever. I'd want to make films myself one day. Or write. Or paint. I was born the same year that FWWM came out so I'm a rather new fan of Twin Peaks. :)

Good evening. Realised it was pretty rude to be sneaking around here without introducing myself. I'm an 18-year-old female from Norway. During my adolescence I saw my dad watch different films by David Lynch. Some years ago I became curious and decided to check it out myself - startet with 'Twin Peaks'.
Besides enjoying visual art by David Lynch, I like reading, drawing, films, sounds and creativity (which I unfortunately don't possess). In lack of friends who know that David Lynch exists, I found this forum to read about different theories and views about and on the different films by him. (Please don't mind my grammar. It will annoy me more than it annoys you when I realise what I actually wrote.)

Hey...thought I'd make an official intro. I am 'BlueFrank'...I'm 40 years old and curently live in London, although I'm originally from the 'south-coast'. I got into Lynch via early exposure in my youth, from my father...beginning with The Elephantman and closely followed by Dune. (early 80's VHS) Naturally, I fell in love with 'Blue Velvet' soon after and then I can clearly remember being overly excited by the fact that David was venturing to TV with his next project...yes that being Twin Peaks. Later I then ventured to see 'Wild At Heart' at the cinema (my only visit to see a Lynch movie in a theatre) and I was to all intents and purposes disappointed...and at this point I then started to deviate from the Lynchian Path...a mistake of epic proportions. Now that I am 'back in the fold' and have been for a number of years...I cannot get enough of David's output. He is a 'giant' among directors and is without doubt (imo) one of cinema's greatest ever...from Eraserhead to Inland Empire...I love it all. (still a bit lukewarm about WAH though) I'm a particular fan of the sound and soundtracks that David has developed along with Splet, Badalamenti, Neff and other artists...as well as a huge fan of some of David's own compositions PinkRoom, Ghost Of Love etc etc. Without David Lynch...I think that I'd go insane...well more insane, at least...his work has made me fall in love with 'cinema' again. Outside of Lynch...some of the things I like: Kubrick, Cronenberg, Haneke, P T Anderson, P K Dick, Dennis Potter, Occult Research/synchronicity, Phat Booty, Tea, Doobies blah, blah, blah.

Hey, I'm my_lo and I live in Belgium. I'm a Twin Peaks fan for many years (since it was first on TV) and I still re-watch it regularely with my sweet wife (who happens to be fan too :) ). What I really love to do is to prepare a dinner with my wife (italian food lover here), to listen to Jazz while drinking good red wine and to watch Twin Peaks with a good cherry pie and a cup of black coffee. In music, I love alternative-rock but above all, I love Jazz! I believe that this love for jazz has been trigered by the soundtracks of TP and Angelo Badalamenti's talent. For the rest, I love romans by H. Murakami and stuff about zombie survival like all the works of G Romero and games like Left4dead... Voilà, that's pretty much me in a nut shell :D PS: I have never been to a TP fest. but we are talking more and more about going to the 2011 edition (if there is one), all the way from Belgium!!! If there wasn't a 2011 edition of the fest, I think we would go anyway to the place, to visit some TP places and have some great walks in this marvellous landscape :)

Hello, guys! My name is Andrew, I am from Romania, I am 22 years old and I love Twin Peaks . I can't necessary call myself a hardcore fan of Lynch, but I do belive that Lynch is a genius when it comes to film making. I joined this forum because I am really interested in talking about Twin Peaks in general ( especially about the Black Lodge and what happens in there ) and I saw that this forum has some really interesting discussions. Well... what else can I say? My hobbies include skateboarding, computer programming and 3d modeling and animation ( yeah, you can call me 'geek' ) . I am glad to have joined you and... till we talk again I would like to wish you happy ...hmmm.... doppelganger-ing!

Finally had time today to register with this board. Glad to see that there's a hearty online community for fans of the show. Anyhoo, just thought I'd post to see if there are any other Chicago area fans active on this board. Delila's tends to rerun the series in the winter. Any Chicago area folks interested in checking it out? I'm also thinking that that "25 year reunion" for Laura and Dale is due: possibly within another 5 years or so? Cheers, Avery Bean

My name is Julie and I am 39 years old. My first of Lynch was the movie Wild At Heart which I loved. I saw that when it first came to rental, not knowing I'd be reintroduced to Lynch through Twin Peaks, by someone special to me, twenty years later. I just got done with all the episodes now. I loved watching what he found so intriguing, but fell in love with it myself in the process. Oh and I am also very taken by the setting of Twin Peaks, the beautiful scenery and Julee Cruise music. I am looking forward to exploring more.....

Hi, my name is Andrew. I'm from Iowa, which is in the United States for those who don't know, lol. I've been a big Lynch fan for about 4 years now. I've only been through Twin Peaks three times now, but I like to read a lot about different peoples opinions to try and get more closure from the series... even though there are many mysteries none of us will ever know. "She's full of secrets"... not just Laura, but the woods of Twin Peaks.
