Robert Clark, director of A Christmas Story, and his son died early this morning in a car crash in Pacific Palisades. The driver of the other vehicle was under the influence and was driving without a license.

Also the director of Porkys and the original Black Christmas. Not real familiar with him but I did see on the local news that Pacific Coast Highway was closed AGAIN for the second time in a week for a fatality. The car was demolished! Earlier this week it was a pedestrian who was killed -- hit and run. It's distracting to drive along the coast. Your eyes keep drifting over to the ocean. There are no dividers between the north and south bound lanes of traffic and it's a prime location for head on collisions. Very sad news for the Clark family.

It was hit by a GMC Yukon, so I would suppose so. Having something like that barreling down on you must be terrifying.
