Just got word from my agent that a nostankyou P.S.A. spot I acted in will be a local (Seattle) TV commercial! That a thou or so more profit for me!!! And last night, my son Nick won a Zune MP3 player as first prize in a Guitar Hero competition!!! Not gloating, just feelin' good. It's been a grey gloomy week weatherwise. I need some cheer...

Nick's winning song was Oingo Boingo's Only a Lad. On the downside, he's broken up with his long time girlfriend...

That wasn't the cute young lady he was with at the Twin Peaks Fest sign-in locale, was it? I think you said otherwise.
Oh well. Fish. Sea. Plentiful. That's not necessarily a bad thing at his age. Congrats on the good news of the first post! Susan

No, that was Rachel, ANOTHER actress from Fools. Emily was gonna do the read, but got paid to perform at the Microsoft picnic. Rachel was a last minute replacement & one heck of an actress (not that Emily's any slouch). I wish Emily the very best. Nick was just very unsatisfied with where their relationship was heading.

Correction: his WINNING playoff pair was Heart-Shaped Box/ Roll Dem Bones. He went up against a guy who'd won every night for the past month. It was Nick's first night. I've played G.H. about 3 times. I'm horrible. I played with Emily & we'd get booed off stage about halfway in.
