Ugly Betty comes back on the air tonight! Wondering if anyone else here watches this show. I think it's a lot of fun; America Ferrera is really wonderful and carries the whole show. Not that the other cast members haven't been able to hold their own in some episodes (particularly Becki Newton who plays Amanda, and steals every scene she's in). I saw every episode of this show last season... the episodes just fly by, are fast paced, funny, and delightful. It's a lot of fun to keep up with the ridiculous soap opera plot twists (not to mention trying to explain them to people who haven't seen it). I just hope they come up with some fresh ideas this season, as the last two episodes before the fantastic cliffhanger season finale, felt really tired, and introduced some incredibly lame and uninteresting story lines that made me fear for the future of the show. Though the finale introduced some intriguing new elements, there's still some left over from those train wreck episodes that could inhibit the enjoyability of the show. It's hard to believe how much has changed for me since last season... it'll be weird watching it again. Please post your thoughts about last season (or this episode if you post later) if you watch this show.
