QUOTE: Senator Craig is a disgrace and should resign. His wife should do what Hillary should have done -- take a hike. Dump the chump. An embarrassment. Shameful. His days are numbered.
He should just admit he's gay, that's no big deal. He's boring, just looking after his power, yawn.
Gore. Peace Prize. Nobel, that is. We live in serious times, said the era-ist, but these times are widely populated by silly and foolish folks. I think I could count the World's Wise Ones on two hands with fingers left over.
Gore is also simply boring, he should run though, that would make him fun!
Hillary's front being well. I may lose two $20 bets on her being the Democratic candidate. I just didn't think it would actually come to pass. Ordinarily I enjoy the fact that life can still surprise. The fundraising and the charges are just typical non-stories. Shrill hysteria that intermittently sickens or bores me.
I'm starting believe she may actually get elected.
Fred Thompson does NOT believe the Soviet Union still exists. More meaningless kerfuffling. Oh how I wish we could move beyond the hyper-inflation of the occasional slip of the tongue. You know decisions are made on this kind of siliness. As if it matters. As if...
I agree, doesn't matter too much.
Did Ann Coulter go tooooooo far this time? Yadayadayada. The voice of a generation? The voice of the right? The voice of anything? I'm not too sure of her purpose in the grand scheme of things but one thing seems certain. She too is part of the silly/foolish population whose high profile dearth of wisdom, will in the distant future, be recalled with hilarity by all. Not the kind of posterity she may have had in mind.
I give Anne no more importance than Rush, Michael Moore, Bill O'Reilly and Pat Robertson. People do listen to her though (and she's probably smiling all the way to the bank).
Canadian currency? I have no idea, really. All I know is that Bush is responsible for every negative thing that has happened to the world so it's hard to imagine his "taking power" actually benefitted our Northern Neighbors. Glass half full?
Shortly after 9/11 when I visited NYC for the first time I remember paying about $1.45 for every US dollar. Now I can buy a US dollar for only 97.5 cents! I'm sure it's not entirely Bush's fault but I find it interesting nobody is really talking too much about the dramatic devaluation on the US currency.
Canada again. Uh, why wouldn't they still have a minority government. Parliamentary system. Tee hee. Soooo quaint -- so provincial.
Yes! YES!! YES!!! What an abysmal joke. I don't think I'm alone in giving almost all sources of media as much credibility as my post man. Not greater. Not lesser. Just about the same. Thanks for that area of agreement.
Yup, be it the left, the right or the middle everyone is botching stories every which way.
Brian de Palma. Yes, I think I recall that name. He of "Carrie" and "Dressed to Kill" fame. I recall him from back when he was relevant. Before he became the socially and politically deep thinker. Ah, yes, it is so instructive to have Brian De Palma's unique insights available free on the Internet even. Great news.
HD Net is a high def TV channel. the reason I bring this up is the movie is about the Iraq war and is supposedly going to be controversial. I don't know much more, just that I like DePalma's flashy style of directing (in small doses) and he loves to showcase beautiful women.
...and is not likely to any time soon. Los Atlantis?
Like I care. But that's nice, I suppose.
Thanks for thinking of me, Danwhy!
