This song (Killing The Blues) has been revived by Alison Krauss & Robert Plant on their collab/LP Raising Sand. It's been covered a few times & I recall it's original version by John Prine, written by his bassist Rowland "Roley" Sally. Sally recorded his own version in 2005, on an album of his songs, titled after his most famous tune. Roley is likely best known to you all as Chris Isaak's long-time 4- stringer. Has anyone out there heard this album? And does anyone know if the Chris Isaak Show will ever be released on DVD?
