Hi Reb, I'm watching it now. Lots of unfamiliar names, lots of good music! Beautiful dresses; cool dudes. It's much classier this year than I've seen it in the past. I'm watching John Legend and Fergie. I think I just heard Kanye West, who sounded great. That Beatles presentation by Cirque de Soleil was pretty Vegas-y but that's just me probably. Reminded me of the old Oscar show song and dance numbers but with a trapeze girl. Looking forward to Tina Turner. Sorry that the Band didn't perform after getting their lifetime achievement award. Does Tom Hanks look horrible or what?

I watched the majority of it and I thought it was really good. Loved the Tina & Bionce' portion as well as the Rhapsody in Blue. Overall I thought it was a good year for the Grammys, and it was refreshing to have an artist like Herbie Hancock win Best Album.
It is important to remember that some dark places do not need light.
