Josh saw it a couple weeks ago and said it is fantastic!  Sounds like a winner and I wish her great success with this film.

Interesting cast, if nothing else, I'm intrigued by this one, even though I've yet to see Boxing Helena. Good to see Bill Pullman acting in something out of the mainstream again. I'm also curious as to why IMDB list sci fi as one of the film's genres... should be interesting.

That god damn trailer's more popular than Uncle's Day in a whorehouse!

Boxing Helena is so female erotica of the early/mid 90s it's not funny*. So the strangest thing about it is that Zalman King had nothing to do with it. But if you like that sort of thing, you might enjoy BH.

*It even has Enigma on the soundtrack.

Awww, it must be the mother in me, but this is soooo cute!  If you click on the Sydlynch comment, you'll come to this little 40 second video that Jennifer's daughter and her friend made.  Uh, she's not 19 as her profile misstates but that's obvious when you watch this.

Good looking trailer!  Nothing much better than reds on film whether it's a red car or red blood.

It does have that post-MTV Zalman King, weirdness thing going on.  I'd only call it erotica, though, if you have a B&D amputation kink.  Surveillance looks very edgy and splatter, I'm sure it will do very well in the States.

Is that Jen's daughter?  Is she about 9?  Adorable! Reminds me of me and my little friends at that age.

EDIT: so I deleted my article in case it gets published, but here's a podcast of an interview with Pullman done at the Denver Film Festival before the Q&A I covered.

Here's part 2 of the podcast:

(He says he got the part in Lost Highway because David Lynch said "He can be a nice guy who looks like can get himself in a lot of trouble."

I hope it makes it to Italy. I read that it was shown at a national noir festival on Dec 9, but I doubt it will get distribution in theatres. Well, in that case, I'll have to find a copy when it is released in English. I'm really looking forward to watch this. I've seen a trailer when it went to Cannes and it looked good!

Jen Lynch interview in the latest issue of Bizarre magazine. If someone gets this in the UK, could you scan or transcribe the interview?  I'd really appreciate it :D
