This is crazy! And Richard Kelly's not even directing!

The tagline for the first one was Dark. Darker. Darko. Darko=Darkest! How much more Darko can it get? None. None more Darko.

Also the movie wasn't very good.

Something tells me this will, much like the Mila Kunis starring American Psycho II, be dropped direct to video where it will die an anonymous death. I hope. (Because I love the first movie.)

Kelly is not directing!!!!!!! WHAT THE F***!!!!!!!

Yep, Straight to video with all the crappy Crow sequels.

Donny Darko is one of my absolute favorite movies.  This is disturbing news in deed.

If Donnie is DEAD, how can it be D.D. II?!?!  If it's about Samantha, shouldn't it be something like Samantha Sparkle: Darko Motion?!  (I'm kinda kidding... DON'T!!!)

Well, it's officially titled S. Darko. Is it too much to ask that they slip an "Electric Boogaloo" in there somewhere?

WTF?!?!  Seriously...this is going to suck...just like the Crow sequels, American Psycho II and any of those other films that tried to bank on an interesting movie.

Donnie Darko was an excellent debut film for Richard Kelly, but oddly enough he hasn't done anything promising since which surprises me.

The sequel sounds like a stinker.

He's been too busy making Southland Tales.

How horrible, I thought the film industry was past the phase of making pointless sequels that hardly involve anyone from the original... I'll just pretend I never heard about this...

That god damn trailer's more popular than Uncle's Day in a whorehouse!

Saw the trailer. Ick. It says: "You've seen the cult movie, now see it from her point of view." Frank talks to Samantha in it.

So... someone is taking the shit from the cutting room floor and recycling it? If I never hear about Donnie Darko, or Richard Kelly, again, it will be too soon. Southland Tales was truly one of the worst movies I'd ever seen.

Full Trailer

Hahaha. Take a look at that Frank costume. Pretty sure the filmmakers just looked at the poster for the first one, thought "Skeletal bunny head? Yeah, I can do that." Cue trip to Dollar General.

I would watch it as long as I don't have to pay to rent it. It shouldn't be called a sequal to DD. Riccoculous!

Donnie Darko was a good movie.  Anyone who thinks otherwise has bad taste.

I LOVED DD until it was shoved down my throat again and again, with extended cuts and theater re-releases, and worst of all the director's not so subtle after all religious subtext.

Why can't we get some of that action with FWWM?
