Red Band Trailer

This looks a little more Ladykillers than No Country for Old Men, but I trust the Coen's after the latter film. The cast is pretty good, too. I'm sure Michael Clayton fans will get a kick out of Tilda Swinton and George Clooney as lovers.

Oh no! I'm hoping for something more akin to The Big Lebowski.

Oh, we're all hoping for another Lebowski. I think it's likely, since they conceived the whole thing themselves, unlike their last two comedies.

The budget in actors' salaries must be well over $100,000,000. WOW! Now that's a star vehicle.  Wonder how many Academy Award noms and wins there are between the cast and crew.

Looks amoozing.

The Ladykillers is actually pretty funny. I only watched it recently, and when you look at the whole Coen canon, it has its place, admittedly near the back of the line. You can't always hit one out of the park, and a  flawed Coen film is still miles ahead of most director's best efforts. This new one looks interesting.

Oooooo, Coen Bros. thread.  I feel at home.

Isn't it awesome how often they come out with new movies?  Seriously though, Barton Fink is my personal favorite (don't tell The Big Lebowski).
