...and I'm waiting to get paid off for the two wagers I made in 2006 that Hillary Clinton would not be nominated as the Democratic candidate for the POTUS.

Feeling a little smug.  Not gloating.  But I knew it.

Give me a little time to relish my victory and I'll go ahead with the 2008 General Election predictions.  I've got a funny feeling it won't be change you can believe in but no bets quite yet.

Yep - I still remember you saying it wouldn't happen, Susan.

I got my steak dinner from Ruths Chris coming up at some point with my little wager with the mother-in-law.

Hmm yeah, that Susan had invited all comers to take the bet like 2 years ago! Am I nosey? I would like to know how much S collected-and i know with a classy gal the amount doesn't matter. I offer this score in trade for S's Hillary info: I have an "I Like Ike" 4 inch button/pin. So, I may have scored again -like with the stamp collection killing- I found "Ike" is for sale on an ebay auction with the person wanting an $8.00 offer, so the sky is the limit on this rare gem.

So, i am put off by the Rep big govt spend pork steal, waste millions on a high tech bridge ...to nowhere !!

What happened to the "overwhelming force" of Gen what's his name- General Powel. Even i knew the huge problem in Iraq was confederating Sunnis, Shites, and Kurds.

That is after planning. Despite a fast well executed shock and awe and the excellence of the volunteer armed forces, despite that and after that it was war on a shoestring with Rumsfeld. It took years in the wilderness and finally Gen Petraeus to architect a control operation.

nEXT i'LL DESCRIBE MY MISGIVINGS WITH THE dems.

And although I wasn't impressed with Ron Paul so much, but if he is on the ballot- he is under consideration.

My take on McCain : later gadors
