Anybody been watching the Olympics? Haven't heard a peep out of anyone on here. If so, what have you been watching? Michael Phelps? The Redeem Team? The 10 year old posing as 16 year old Chinese gymnasts? I'll hang up and listen...
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper

Actually I've watched when I can. And yes I called Bullshit on the 13 year Chinese gymnast. 16!!!!! Bullshit!!!! The IOC announced today that there will be an official investigation. I hope the truth comes out. Phelps...... Wow....Wow.... I simply speechless I am sick of the Beach Volleyball coverage on NBC. Give me a break. Its nice to see bikinis on the beach but lets see some of the other countries. Not just the one US team. I've been watching the Canadian Coverage. They love to mix it up and show the good stuff early in the evening. NBC thinks we can all stay up until 1:00 in the morning. My day starts at 5:00.

I admit that I have succumbed to watching the 2008 Olympic Games. It has been a disappointment to recognize that certain nations such as Mexico (diving) and Romania (gymnastics), for example, receive no NBC coverage, although their scores are displayed upon the screen. Particular events are completely disregarded as well. I believe that the clothing which the women of the volleyball competition were required to wear was ridiculous, but evidently, the events must attract an audience.

NBC does wave the "Ole Glory" at times. That's why I've been watching alot of CBC coverage from Canada. They love to give everyone their 15 minutes (or just 2) in the spotlight. Looking forward to the 2012 Winter games in Vancouver already.

Olympics? What Olympics? They're in China? Sorry, I don't do China. The fireworks were digital fakery? The little girl singing was lip synching because the 'State' did not think the actual vocalist was pretty enough? The officials would not let tourists into the extremely expensive exhibitor pavilions? Some venues were almost empty and the Chinese would not even let their own people in? Nope, didn't watch a minute...
