What's your favorite Beer? (You DO like beer, don't you?) Mirror Pond Pale by Deschutes. (The standard joke is that I like my beer just like Me, pale and bitter.) rb

I am a domestic guy myself (doesn't take much to please me), but I don't discriminate when it comes to beer.

I usually aim for quantity, not quality. I'm not as much a fan of beers that are 10 dollars a 6 pack and you feel like you've had a 7 course meal after drinking two of them.

The best beer around can be found here. Just my humble opinion, having lived on the adjacent mountaintop for three years.

My most favorite beer is the Damnation Ale from the Russian River Brewing Company. The only way you can get it is on tap, and it's only in certain bars/restaurants. So trying to find a place that serves it is irritating. But when I find it...oh it's so worth it. :D

I was drinking an icy cold Rainer (a local weak lager, or what was once a local weak lager), my favorite hot day/ poor redbear beer, while watching episode 7 or 8 over the weekend and Pete said something (can't recall what) that caused an honest to god spit take. You'd think the fourth or fifth time (watching TP, not drinking beer) I'd be safe but no. At least it was $10/18 and not $10/6 beer.

Bruge Zot, and pretty much any other Belgian beer, is the bollocks.

I want to have a dream where Major Briggs and myself share a beer and he passes on the wisdom of the ages to me.

When I was underage, I would consume kegs and kegs of Honey Brown with my pals. My dad liked it, too, so I'd get into his stash. Now I can't stomach beer. It all tastes like ass pee to me. Flying Dog and Fat Tire were the last beers I ever had in my refrigerator, many years ago.
I'll stick with my white wines and frou-frou girly drinks like Pink Squirrels made with white Godiva and Melon Coladas.

I love a good Hefeweizen, & have gotten into fruity beers. There's great beers flavored with lemon, apricot & strawberry. Sam Adams makes an interesting cherry wheat version. There was a coffee beer called Pipeline that I really like. Annheuser Busch (of all peoples) makes a delicious orange & spice brew called Shocktop. It's paradise ice cold (that's almost frozen to you)...

Rogue's Brutal Bitter is my favorite. A close second though is the Arrogant Bastard Dark Chocolate Stout. It's only out for a couple of weeks a year it seems, though, so I can't really make it a favorite. -cg

Newcastle Brown is probably my favorite, but I'm down with trying local microbrews if I'm visiting somewhere. My job carries me to Wyoming periodically and we'd get growlers from a bar that sells Snake River- the Rockchuck Rye was perhaps my favorite there. Also like Fat Tire and Boont Amber. When in need of a "sports drink", I wouldn't say no to something like a Corona or PBR...

I LOVE the belgium Hoegaarden. Especially when it´s served in thoose insanely huge glasses where you have to hold it with both hands. Makes me feel like a 4 year old again -a drunken 4 year old that is....
And of course I love my Thai beers: Beer Chang and Singha Beer. Not because of the taste -it´s just a nostalgic thing you know... Ditte

Do they sell beer to 4-year old kids in Denmark, then?

I´m afraid not, new shoes. BUT they are still a whole lot cheaper than in Norway. So DK is still worth the visit But I do recall back in the days where I could walk into any store and buy beer for my dad or cigs for my mom
