My favorite is easily Roadhouse - total 80s look and feel, good Jeff Healy music, bad synthesizer music, mullets, gratuitous T&A, monster trucks, explosions, bar fights, even the women have that big curling iron hair, wonderful 80s fashion, a man at the roadhouse dancing and is shirtless and wearing only jeans, shirtless Swayze running around in sweatpants ripping people's throats out and saying such awesome dialogue as "pain don't hurt." What bad movies do you genuinely like, not ones that are bad and suck like Showgirls?
"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it, don't wait for it, just let it happen. Could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot, black coffee. Like this." -Dale Cooper

Ha! You beat me to it Cool. The Stuff (1985) When white goo comes bubling up from a hole in a quarry what's the first thing you do? You taste it of course. I saw this when I was stationed at Ramestein AB, FRG in the 80's. There were two theaters on base (actually there were three, but only two were working at any given time) and the movies cost somthing like $1 or $2 so I saw just about everything that came through including this gem. Just looked it up on WikiP/IMDb and saw this great tag line from it; "Are you eating it...or is it eating you?"

I like how you call me Cool like it is my first name or something! Keep it up. Your thread below inspired me, I caught a big fish like Lynch does sometimes. Haven't seen the movie you just mentioned, but it made me almost cry with laughter. Thanks, I needed that. There is also an 80s movie I believe called Troll, followed by the highly successful Troll 2 which enriched the already complex mythology. The town was Nilbog (Goblin backwards!)

Good choice, redbear. My best friend Erin and I would watch tThe Stuff over and over in 5th grade and get hysterical over that guy's jaw ripping open when the evil marshmallow fluff explodes out to find another victim.

Well shit, now I've go the jones to see it again, 22ish years latter. I've been talking about it the whole time, saying it was the worst movie I'd ever seen. Well I didn't know bad until I saw D&D. Not even fun bad, not even for a D&D dork. Maybe I'll bury it in my back yard for 20 years.

Most D-grade horror flicks are unintentionally funny and awesomely bad. No doubt about that. :) There was one I saw called Street Trash. The scene that made me laugh so damn hard I almost choked to death was when one character gets his junk ripped off, and they're all playing keep-away with it and it goes flying through the air and you get this extremely long arcing closeup of the wang as it sails along...and it is the most realistic-looking detached member I've ever seen in a film. I laughed SO HARD. I couldn't stop laughing.

No, though that might actually make the movie just a bit gross and frightening. As it stands now, it's neither.

I actually own Chasers. Yes, Crispin Glover, Gary Busey, Dean Stockwell and Dennis Hopper are in it. And it sucks. Hard. Yet I can't part with it!

Double Impact - Van Damme delivers this clever dialogue with the emotion of a paper sack and a Belgian accent - "Take your fancy clothes and your black silk underwear and go back to Disneyland."

Any 80s movie with stereotypical jerk jock bad guy William Zabka are freakin' awesome!

Remake! Remake!
Something based on Viagraish drug gone wrong. Just think of the scenes of guys coming and coming, collapsing in on themselves and eventually disappearing out their own thangs! Remember; "No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public." I would disagree but would say it's a whole lot easier to do it if you overestimate.
