I couldn't believe this news ! I'll always remember great discussions on Infinite Jest with Wrapped in Plastic's John Thorne. I'll also always remember his appreciation for David Lynch. Shocking news. Very troubling. Who knew? What a brutal cruel decision particularly coming from a man with such a grand sense of humor. Very sorry for his family and friends. Susan

Yes, he defined the oft misused term "Lynchian" in A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again.
