The Heavy Metal Movie

Saw it in High School at a midnight showing on the big screen at the Frandor mall, pot smoke billowing (not from me, I was a good boy) empties rolling down the sloped concrete floor (ditto) and it was AMAZING!

Fifteen or so years pass and a friend made me a copy of his tape as it was not available in general release, something about their not having secured any of the rights to the songs they used if I recall correctly.  I got it home, popped it in, smoke was billowing, soon to be empty in hand (I was still a good boy but my definition of good had changed radically) and... UGH!  It was all but unwatchable, the only part I could stomach to any degree was the piece about the Amazon warrior fighting the guy with the buzz saw hand and his minions.
