I just wanted to let you all know that my hometown is going to be on EHM on Nov. 16!  The family is a deserving family.  He's a firefighter and EMT who was injured in the 2005 race riots.  She is a minister who is very ill and partially paralyzed.  They have 3 biological sons and adopted 8 more sons from all over the world but mostly from inner city Toledo.

They live about 2 blocks from my parents and, because of the narrowness and lack of space, most of the equipment, trucks, etc was stored in the parking lot behind my parents' house.  

I have driven past the house and it is absolutley beautiful.  It should be a good episode.  They did the makeover during September 11.  Besides, it's in my hometown!  Maybe my family and friends will be on there!
